Memory Lane #3

So who knows where this picture is from?

If you guessed the road to Gooseberry, you were correct. Now first thing you need to know, is this particular road rates at least top three on my favorite place to be driving. This particular picture was taken in July of 2007. This was the first trip Tim made to Blanding, and the first time we went camping together, and also the last time I was at Gooseberry. My family has been camping at Gooseberry as long as I can remember, and my mom's family camped there before that. In a perfect world, I would get to camp out there at least once a month. I even love the drive out there, as long as we don't take "the knoll", but even then it is not nearly as scary as when I was a little kid. It is one of the most beautiful drives I have ever been on, and I never get tired of it. Well, now I am homesick again. At least I will be there in just over two weeks. :)

Memory Lane #2

First: Let me clarify by saying, we are not naked in this picture. Everyone always asks me, so I just wanted to get that out of the way.
Second: As you might have guessed, since this is similar to my last post, I like to find old pictures and comment on them. It is a great way for me to remember them, and it makes me happy to look at older pictures. So, this will probably be a regular thing on our blog.
Third: Now, to tell you about this day. This picture was taken in June 2007. Timothy and I had been living together for about a month when we took this picture. There was nothing special about this day, we were just happy to be together. Kinda like it still is. I love this particular picture because the look in Tim's eyes is so happy. Makes me love him all over again every time I see it.

Memory Lane #1

This is a picture from March of 2007. This is me and my friend/co-worker Jessica Cloward in the back hallway at Walmart. We decided to go on a "girl date". We got all dolled up and went miniature golfing and went out to dinner. We had to work an overnight shift afterwards to reset the tire modular in automotive. So that is the story behind why we were dressed up at Walmart. Good times. Good times. And, I think it is still the only time I have actually ended up wearing this dress. I have tried it on many times to wear, but always feel to fat in it. :(

Now you will never hear the end of me......

So, I know I already blogged once today, but this could prove to be an addicting habit. I have recently discovered I can type just as much and just as fast as I can talk. Scary. So, here is a brief update on our family.
Timothy and I now work on the overnight crew in the back room at Walmart, (I should be sleeping right now), and we love it. It was a good move for us, even if it wasn't completely voluntary. We are currently living with Tim's parents in Sandy in order to pay off the medical bills from five surgeries in 2 1/2 years. (I am winning, I have had four Tim has only had one).
Xavier is now in 4th grade. Which blows my mind. He recently started going to scouts for the first time and is loving it. He is also on the safety patrol at school, but is having a hard time
remembering when it is his turn. We are working on that. He loves riding his skateboard, and playing with lego's. He is also very interested in science-y things.
Lexi is in 2nd grade. She turned eight this mon
th and was very excited to not ride in a booster anymore. She is becoming quite the fashion-ista, and is obsessed with accessories. She loves riding her scooter, painting, and playing barbies.

Surprise!

I blogged again!

So, apparently I was confused on how this whole thing works. So I made a call to "tech support" and was walked through the whole process, and now maybe I will get around to blogging on a regular basis.

Hello World

This is my first attempt at being creative while typing in a virtual world.
